Job summary

TIME Manufacturing Company in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Line X Specialist to apply polyurea/polyurethane coatings to utility truck service bodies and Versalift assemblies, bridging precision manufacturing with heavy coatings. The role ensures protection against abrasion, corrosion, and environmental factors to extend equipment life.

The position reports to the Production Manager and requires adherence to safety and quality standards in a high-demand industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial coating experience in polyurea or related coatings.
• Ability to read product data sheets and application specifications.
• Experience with coating inspection and quality control.
• Proficiency in applying polyurea/polyurethane coatings to large vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and condition substrates to spec using mechanical and chemical methods.
• Mask sensitive areas to protect non-coating zones and ensure proper edge definition.
• Mix and spray polyurea/polyurethane coatings with controlled thickness and texture.
• Maintain spray equipment, logs, and safety practices in the shop.
