Job Summary

As a meat packaging laborer, you will work in a fast‑paced production environment, performing manual labor for all aspects of packaging various meat products. All laborers will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where assistance is required. All employees must work in a safe manner.

Essential Functions

• Mark product bins, cages, and carts with identifying code information.
• Capable of lifting 30–40 lbs. frequently, and pushing/pulling fully loaded meat cages & product bins.
• Document all production‑related activities concerning the Product Traceability Computer System.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and hazard‑free.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Follow instructions and procedures.
• Understand health and safety and basic hygiene rules.
• Observe carefully to spot problems with produce; maintain concentration for repetitive tasks.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work well in a team, work independently, and be flexible.
