Job summary

Church & Dwight in Concord, Missouri is seeking a Line Technician to operate and maintain equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This hourly role reports to the Manufacturing Coordinator and features a 2-2-3 night shift (6pm–6am) with starting pay of $26.98 per hour.

You will perform autonomous maintenance, support line performance, ensure quality standards, and participate in 5S and safety programs while contributing to continuous improvement and reliable output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate equipment to meet quality, scheduling and customer requirements.
• Ensure all quality standards are met, i.e. verification of materials and components for orders.
• Operate equipment per standard work and participate in machine setup and changeover functions.
• Participate in line performance troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Assist with autonomous maintenance; cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas of waste.
• Utilize a computer to operate company software and electronic systems.
• Operate auxiliary/support equipment.
• Maintain the work area in a safe, clean and organized manner aligning with 5S standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

LINE TECHNICIAN

REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Coordinator STATUS: Hourly

Shift: 2-2-3 Rotation, 6pm - 6am

Starting Hourly Wage - $26.98/hr

General Summary

Operates machines and other manufacturing equipment in a production environment. Maintains production equipment and components to meet the targeted OEE rates for all products. Performs autonomous maintenance on required machines to ensure effective operation and output. Manufacturing equipment may include the following: un-scrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, Hartness case packer, and palletizer/stretch wrapper. Upon hiring and completion of C&D training candidate will be able to;

Job Functions

• Assist with AM functions; cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas of waste
• Utilize a computer to operate company software and electronic systems
• Operate Aux/support equipment
• Assist with maintaining the work area in a safe, clean and organized manner aligning with 5S standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
