Job Description

Reports to: Service Manager

Position: Automotive Technician (Full-Time)

Location: Carson Honda, Los Angeles, CA

The Automotive Technician is responsible for reconditioning vehicles to the highest standards, including:

• Performing work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately
• Examining vehicles and diagnosing repairs
• Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Road-testing vehicles when required or referring to the test technician
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Following federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal

Pay Scale: Base hourly wages between $31.00 and $32.00

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of previous Automotive Technician experience
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
