Job summary

AFM - Association Française du Marketing is seeking a Line Technician for the 2nd shift in Cincinnati, Iowa. This role involves performing maintenance and operating the assigned packaging line/equipment for reliability and efficiency.

The position offers a pay rate of $24-29 per hour plus a shift differential, comprehensive medical benefits starting on your first day, and generous paid time off. Ideal candidates have mechanical experience and preferred electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of mechanical experience, electrical skills strongly desired.
• Demonstrated electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to all packaging equipment as required.
• Lead line teams in completing daily production schedules.
• Complete all Preventative Maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production line area.
• Perform STOP and 5-S GMP audits as required.
• Complete all shift notes and line documentation.

Line Technician – Plant Team (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.

This is a Production position. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and operating the assigned packaging line/equipment to ensure overall reliability and efficiency.

What you will do:

• Correctly make repairs to all packaging equipment as required or directed.
• Lead line teams in the successful completion of daily production schedules.
• Complete all Preventative Maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production line area.
• Perform STOP and 5‑S GMP audits and follow‑up as required.
• Correctly complete all shift notes and line documentation as trained.

What you will need:

• Associate’s or Trade School certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years of mechanical experience, electrical skills strongly desired as well.
• Must have demonstrated electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance on production line equipment.
