Job Purpose and Summary

This job requires the Line Supply Forklift Operator to perform the following tasks:

• Check/verify all product labels, names, and quantities being moved to production
• Pre-stage all materials and keep track of lot numbers for all items
• Document all supplies taken to the production area, ensuring FIFO order, and supply only what is needed
• Pull all pre-weighed batches as needed by mixers in production
• Perform inventory cycle counts as needed or directed by supervision
• Work well with team members to accurately place items in designated storage areas
• Return all ingredients and packaging to warehouse once production is complete
• Cycle count ingredients to ensure correct quantities and lot numbers
• Use handheld scanner to complete inventory moves and document on batch sheets, to be turned in at end of shift
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
• Support review, understanding, and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System policies

Duties and Responsibilities

Item Time Job Functions:

• 30% Document lot numbers for items moved from warehouse to production
• 17% Communicate with scheduler, production, purchasing, and receiving regarding shortages, damages, or quality issues
• 40% Safely operate forklift without damage to product, persons, or facilities
• 3% Maintain daily checklist on forklifts
• 10% Maintain FIFO, organization, and cleanliness in warehouses, rotating shifts/duties as needed
