Job summary

Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation is seeking a groundman/helper/learner to assist with clearing rights of way and trimming trees. You will work under supervision to perform safety-sensitive tasks and learn to operate a variety of vehicles and vegetation-management equipment.

You will follow all safety rules and regulations, lift light to medium loads, and adapt to diverse environmental conditions while gaining experience in distribution utility operations.

Qualifications

• This position serves as a groundman, helper, and learner with supervised safety-sensitive tasks.
• Assists with clearing rights of way and trimming trees as assigned.

• Learn to operate and care for various vehicles and equipment as qualified.
• Use of ladders, stairs, and climbing tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
