Job summary

Atlantic Aviation SRQ in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Line Service Technician to provide aviation ground support and exceptional customer service. You will fuel/defuel aircraft, marshal signals, tow aircraft, and assist with baggage handling to help every flight operate smoothly.

This full-time role requires working all shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call duty. You will perform ground handling tasks, operate GSE, and help with aircraft parking and servicing while maintaining a clean, safe ramp.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
• Operate all ground support equipment including lavatory and water service carts, ground power unit, deice truck.
• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Perform customer service activities such as helping customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct or assist with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
• Occasional travel may be required to support another Atlantic location.

Line Service Technician Responsibilities

Line Service Technician Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 18 years of age
• Avalid state driver's license
• Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
• Be physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
