The University of Richmond’s Dining Services is seeking a Line Service Associate to greet customers and deliver high-level service. The role stocks and replenishes food areas, monitors quality and temperature, and maintains cleanliness across serving spaces.
Responsibilities include stocking, garnishing, labeling for allergen safety, assisting with cooking at stations, handling cash transactions as needed, and training new staff.

The Line Service Associate greets customers and provides a high level of service to Dining Services customers. The Line Service Associate stocks and replenishes food supplies in serving areas; monitors food quality, temperature, and quantity; and maintains the cleanliness of the areas
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs., in conditions that are often, hot, humid, or cold. Must be able to safely use and operate typical kitchen tools and equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, on occasion.
High school diploma or GED required. One years' foodservice experience required.
Part-time, non-exempt position. Schedules vary; must be flexible to work AM/PM shifts, evenings and weekends with rotating schedules. This position is designated as essential personnel and, during inclement weather and emergency situations is required to be available to the University as needed.
Pay Grade 1 (Hourly rate starting at $16.20 per hour)
