Job summary

ABB Smart Power is seeking a Senior Project Lead Engineer to drive engineering change implementation, ensure accurate product and manufacturing data, and perform cost analysis across product families. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and support manufacturing lines to meet TAKT and market demand.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years in manufacturing or related fields, and proficiency with SAP, Windchill, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems; Windchill preferred.
• Strong multitasking, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and Implementing engineering changes across products and coordinating the deliverables between cross functional teams.
• Ensuring the manufacturing line has the support required to meet market demand by monitoring output and capacity, verifying line balancing meets the required TAKT, verifying work instructions, and removing barriers.
• Loading, correcting, and monitoring all data related to respective products using the ERP system including Material Masters, Bill of Materials, Routings, and Costing.
• Establishing contacts with suppliers for technical support to improve material quality and/or to decrease costs.
