Job summary

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is hiring a Fast Food Cook to prepare, cook, and serve items in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow established recipes, ensure correct temperatures, and keep the station clean.

The role requires teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to work nights and weekends. A high school diploma and food handlers certification are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cook in a fast food setting preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must hold a valid Food Handlers certificate or pass test
• Must be available to work nights and weekends
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure that all food items are cooked to the required temperature
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and adhere to health and safety regulations
• Receive, store, and rotate stock items in accordance with established procedures
• Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality
• Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure that it meets the highest standards
• Assist in the training of new cooks
• Other duties as required
