Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a full-time HAA pilot to join a team delivering high-stakes medical air transport. This role emphasizes safety, aircraft readiness, and regulatory compliance, with extensive flight-hour requirements and ongoing training.

The position offers a high-potential pay range and bonus eligibility, along with housing support and opportunities for substantial on-duty time at home. Based in Wichita, KS, the role supports life-saving missions across the network.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate.
• Instrument rating for helicopter required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum flight experience includes 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 helicopter PIC hours, 1,000 turbine helicopter hours, and 200 helicopter night flight hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical personnel.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain applicable Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilott o provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch , flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecording Air Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements
