Job summary

Global Medical Response is looking for a Helicopter Pilot in Altus, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will provide essential medical air transportation services while ensuring aircraft readiness. Must possess FAA certifications and meet flight hour requirements. The position offers a competitive salary range of $108,773 to $119,651, a sign-on bonus of $15K, and additional retention bonuses, with a 7/7 schedule and on-duty housing provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Must possess a Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• At least 2,000 Total Flight Hours and 1,500 Helicopter Hours needed.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours and 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours are necessary.
• Must have 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping.

Overview

Salary range: $108,773 - $119,651 including 25% Geo Modifier.

Sign-on bonus: $15K.

Retention bonus plans: $40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses when completed.

On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in applicable manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
