Job summary

Sortera Alloys is seeking an Operator to oversee the machining process, ensure safe operation, and maintain product quality at an efficient rate. You will troubleshoot obvious machine issues and relay findings to maintenance and leadership, while collecting production data and keeping accurate records.

Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, strong communication, and the ability to assist with material handling and conveyor-fed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine and prevent jams; document weights and downtime.
• Communicate issues to shift lead or Production Manager.
• Lead co-workers and material handlers in process flow; coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Possibly perform material handling and sorting tasks.
• Maintain area cleanliness and proper PPE adherence.
