Job summary

You will monitor equipment, ensure proper settings, and adhere to strict safety and environmental standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and measurement units.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust valve guide compacting presses and furnaces.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of products during that process.
• Read routers and production schedules for product specifications (dimensions, tolerances, parts count).
• Record information for inspection and production using logs and computer systems.
• Monitor equipment and set points to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
