Job summary

Mancan is recruiting for an Assembly Line Operator / Line Assembler in Weirton, WV. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, paying about $16 per hour starting wage.

You will work on a production line, follow detailed instructions, and help ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates who can operate hand tools, meet line targets, rotate through tasks, and contribute to lean initiatives

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or assembly line experience preferred
• Mechanical assembly experience a plus
• Familiarity with basic assembly techniques and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow instructions with precision
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Team-oriented with a flexible, adaptable mindset
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products on a production line following detailed instructions and diagrams
• Meet line targets while maintaining high quality standards
• Use hand tools and machinery to complete assemblies efficiently
• Perform visual inspections and basic testing to ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot and report production issues to supervisors or quality teams
• Complete final quality checks before packaging and distribution
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Rotate through different line functions as needed
• Assist with warehouse or material supply tasks when required
• Perform basic equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Document production output and report concerns accurately
