This role involves operating, directing, and overseeing the manufacturing process of grating, ensuring proper spacing and piece size according to job instructions. It requires teamwork, coordination, and communication skills. Work is monitored by a supervisor to ensure quality and accuracy. As a faith-based organization rooted in biblical principles, we expect associates to embody our core values through their actions and collaboration.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools safely. Must read and understand standard and metric measurements, and perform basic arithmetic without calculator. Prior manufacturing experience in steel or aluminum industries preferred.
Repetitive tasks involving standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling. Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds, using proper techniques and assistance when needed.
Work is performed on the production floor with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and machinery hazards. PPE is required at all times.
