Job description

We are currently seeking Line Operator candidates, with the key duties and skills listed below:
Key Duties

• Sets up machinery and prepares equipment to get the line running after a stop.
• Monitors all nearby equipment; stops line immediately if not working properly, there’s a snag or another problem that could compromise product quality or worker safety.
• Inspects items on the line and pulls products and materials that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintains an open line of communication with other line workers and supervisors to alert them to potential hazards and assembling issues.

• Keeps immediate work area clean and organized throughout every work shift.
• Always adheres to safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Requirements

• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Basic computer skills
• Other skills required:
  • Have mechanical skills to perform specific line tasks involving sorting or assembling.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must always be aware of their environment and themselves.
