Responsibilities

  • Focus on bagging, sealing operations and efficient FFS packaging.
  • Follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the All4Zero Safety Program.
  • Perform change overs and setup in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot problems and correct as needed.
  • Ensure product flow remains uninterrupted through packaging.
  • Accurately fill and seal all packaging in the plant.
  • Perform regular housekeeping in the work area and grounds.

LINE OPERATOR

REGULAR FULL TIME Cross City, FL, US

Key Results:

Responsible for working in any phase of the packaging area with the focus on the bagging, sealing operations, and effective operation of FFS.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
  • Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
  • Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
  • Able to perform change over and set up in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects problems efficiently.
  • Identify and understand the different types of packaging.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance.
  • Perform quality checks as prescribed by The Mulch & Soil standards.
  • Must be able to maintain the product flow through the packaging process without incurring any operational interruptions.
  • Accurately fill and seal all types of packaging within the plant.
  • Heavy lifting.
  • Locate product safely and efficiently in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
  • Responsible for notifying supervisor of product issues.
  • Treat product so as to minimize damage occurrences.
  • Responsible for housekeeping in your work area, as well as, all associated grounds.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational practices.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to learn and understand PLC interface.
  • Ability to work well with teams and alone.
  • Capable of maintaining efficiencies for total run rate of:

16 qts. To 32 qts. 20 BPM

1.5 cf to 2cf 18 BPM

3.0 cf 16 BPM

Experience and Education:

High School diploma or GED
