Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read formulas and production orders.
• Start up the production line and the cutter.
• Cooperate with Mix preparation and line feeding.
• Lift and cut 50 pound bags.
• Properly mix materials.
• Feed the mix into the feeders of the extruder.
• Launch finished products into silo after approval of “Quality Control”.
• Unload finished products from silos in super sacks and relocate them with the forklift.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary :

The Line Operator is responsible for producing resin compound by running all aspects the production line, including preparing recipes, loading horizontal mixer, running extruder, launch to silos or unload product into super sacks and relocate. An employee who has thoroughly trained for Line Operator and who has achieved 2 years of experience is eligible to become a Senior Operator.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• None

Duties/Responsibilities :

• Read formulas and production orders.
• Start up the production line and the cutter.
• Cooperate with “Mix preparation and line feeding”.
• Lift and cut 50 pound bags.
• Properly mix materials.
• Feed the mix into the feeders of the extruder.
• Visually check the product.
• Manage extruder and feeders.
• Recognize the different materials.
• Weigh materials.
• Launch finished products into silo after approval of “Quality Control”.
• Unload finished products from silos in super sacks and relocate them with the forklift.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities :

• Ability to calculate weights and measures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Requires fork truck certification

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience preferred

Physical Requirements :
