Job summary

AMES is seeking a Supervisory Manager for our CVG Line Maintenance station. You will provide direct supervision, guide hiring, scheduling, discipline, development, training, coaching, mentoring and termination decisions to maintenance staff.

You will safeguard safety, ensure regulatory compliance and oversee profitability of the CVG line station while reporting to the CVG Line Maintenance Manager. Strong communication and budgeting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience in transport category aircraft line maintenance.
• Knowledge of FAA FAR Part 145 repair station operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting principles.
• 2 years project management experience at FAR 145 repair station (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervisory control and direction to maintenance personnel.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, discipline, development, training, coaching, mentoring and termination decisions.
• Ensure safety, compliance and profitability of the CVG line station.
• Report to the CVG Line Maintenance Manager.

Responsible for the safety, compliance and profitability of the CVG line station. This position willreport to the CVG Line Maintenance Manager.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years’ experience in transport category aircraft line maintenance
• Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to FAR Part 145 repair station operations
• Working knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Degree in business management or related technical field
• 2 years project management experience at FAR 145 repair station operations
