Looking for the next step in your Aircraft Maintenance career? As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks on our growing fleet of aircraft. Those with military A&P experience are eligible for a $7,500 bonus with a commitment to work at SkyWest for at least three years. This role offers an opportunity to gain new skills, work nose-to-tail on aircraft, and be part of a dedicated team that impacts the entire SkyWest operation.

Primary Job Duties

• Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
• Make critical safety decisions promptly
• Perform all line maintenance functions independently
• Manage documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork

Minimum Requirements

• Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
• Hold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate
• Possess a valid unrestricted driver's license
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Willingness to work night/third shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good judgment in team environments and safety procedures
• Preferred: Experience with CRJ and EMB aircraft
• Preferred: Familiarity with Company and Manufacturer Manuals

Physical and Other Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift 60 lbs routinely with or without accommodation
• This is a DOT safety-sensitive position
