Job summary

Primary Staffing Inc. is seeking Production Line Coordinators / Line Lead Coordinators to support daily operations on the production floor.

This role targets candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience who want to advance into leadership and coordination responsibilities. You will take attendance, help assign staff by area, and gain exposure to assembly, material handling, packaging, quality, and related production functions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take attendance at the start of the shift and confirm employee presence on the line.
• Assign employees by department or area and support placements.
• Learn key production areas such as assembly, material handling, and packaging.
• Step in to cover production areas when the line is short-staffed.
• Move or reassign employees between departments as needed.
• Serve as a communication link between floor employees and Primary Staffing.
• Report supply needs, shortages, missing parts, or production concerns.
• Reinforce safety policies, PPE, and workplace procedures.
• Walk the line to monitor tasks and ensure correct completion.
• Identify production or inspection concerns to support quality awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Take attendance at the beginning of the shift and confirm employee presence on the production line.
• Help identify employee assignments and support proper placement by department or area.
• Learn key production areas such as assembly, material handling, packaging, quality, and related production functions.
• Step in to support or cover production areas when the line is short-staffed.
• Assist with moving or reassigning employees between similar departments based on operational needs.
• Serve as a communication link between floor employees and Primary Staffing.
• Help report supply needs, material shortages, missing parts, or other production-related concerns.
• Reinforce safety policies, PPE requirements, workplace behavior, and production standards.
• Walk the production line once trained to help monitor that activities are being completed correctly.
• Support quality awareness by helping identify production or inspection concerns.
