Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Belton, MO is hiring a Line Lead for the 1st shift to supervise production and ensure daily goals are met. You will oversee up to 30 temporary employees, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain smooth workflow.

This role requires the ability to read specifications, perform basic math, and use computers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to keep production moving and resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic math.
• Read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• General knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises up to 30 temporary employees in production.
• Enforce company's rules and regulations.
• Analyses and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and maintains harmony among workers.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Works with supervisors to coordinate flow of materials or products.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance personnel.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, packed and shipped.
• Process off-specification material as directed.
• Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers.
• Inform Line Lead/Production Supervisor and QA Supervisor of issues found during kitting.
• Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects.
• Other duties as assigned.
