Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Forklit Operator for the 2nd shift (1:30pm - 10:00pm) in Ontario, CA. You will load/unload, sort and transport goods, using a reach truck and handheld scanners within a busy warehouse environment.

Qualified applicants have at least 1 year of reach truck experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and can pass pre-employment screening. Excellent benefits, weekly pay, and shift differentials are offered in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a reach truck.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transport to designated areas.
• Check product on inbound/outbound for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision.
