Job summary

IQ Resource Group is seeking an experienced Production Line Lead to join a growing manufacturing team in Bear Creek, WI. The Line Lead will oversee the production line, supervise staff, and drive daily output while upholding quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, QA, Maintenance, and operators to ensure safe, efficient operations, maintain records, and implement improvements to reduce waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to oversee production line operations and meet daily production goals.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

Role details

• Role: Line Lead
• Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Bear Creek
• Shift: 6pm-6am (Monday- Friday)
• Salary Range: $29.79-$35.81 (Based on Experienced)

Role Overview

The Line lead position shall be responsible for direct supervision of the production line in accordance with Plant Policies and Procedures. The Line Lead shall also be responsible for the direct supervision of all production personnel, whether they are seasonal, temporary, part time or full time employees, and any other employees temporarily engaged in the production of product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, Quality Assurance Team, Maintenance Team, and production employees to support daily operations.
• Complete and maintain accurate production documentation and records.
• Monitor work quality and ensure production standards are consistently met.
• Identify potential issues that may impact production schedules and take appropriate action to maintain workflow.
• Support efficient production line operations while minimizing waste and downtime.
• Monitor production performance and assist with improving overall line efficiency.
• Apply training, procedures, and instructions to ensure safe and effective job performance.
• Communicate production concerns, quality issues, and improvement opportunities to appropriate team members.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, quality, and operational success.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to oversee production line operations and meet daily production goals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and support team members.
• Ability to coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and line changeovers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct team meetings and provide direction.
• Ability to monitor product quality and work closely with Quality Assurance personnel.
• Ability to follow and enforce standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and changing priorities.
• Willingness to assist other departments and production lines as needed.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
