Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Kentucky seeks a Production Line Lead to supervise and develop the production team on the line. You will coordinate with other departments to drive safe, efficient manufacturing and ensure quality standards are met.

You will monitor hourly product inspections, understand job rates, and ensure accurate reconciliation while training staff and enforcing company procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–6 months related warehouse/production experience or training.
  • Ability to understand all aspects of the WMS system.
  • Ability to understand quality standards, methods and reporting.
  • Ability to plan in advance for production in your area.
  • Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written.
  • Ability to produce at a high level through staff supervision.
  • Ability to work with plant management for required results.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system.

About The Opportunity

This position is responsible for leading the Production Line Staff.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Professional in attitude and performance in leadership of staff
  • Work in conjunctions with other departments for positive production results
  • Inspection of product every hour or more frequently depending if the job is complex or critical in its design or use

Education & Experience
  • Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Three to six months related experience or training in warehouse production
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to understand all aspects of the WMS system
  • Ability to understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required
  • Ability to plan in advance for production in your area
  • Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written
  • Ability to produce at a high level through your staff
  • Ability to work with plant management for required results

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
  • Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
