Job summary

Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. in Carol Stream, IL, is looking for a Line Lead to guide daily production on the line, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You’ll support a team, remove obstacles, and drive workflow improvements that raise manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction. You will train and mentor staff, run startup checks, monitor quality, report downtime with Maintenance, and contribute to Kaizen projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years Line Lead experience in manufacturing or production.
• LEAN/CI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production line operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Coordinate assignments, monitor progress, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Train and mentor team members for consistent performance.
• Conduct startup checks and escalate equipment issues when necessary.
• Track production output, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality to resolve issues.
• Communicate updates and shift changes to the team and leadership.
• Participate in Kaizen projects to improve safety and productivity.
