Amoura, a family-owned restaurant in South San Francisco, seeks a skilled Line Cook with a passion for fine dining. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, possess strong cooking techniques, and value cleanliness and communication within a team environment. A valid food handler’s certificate is required for this role.
Amoura, a family-owned restaurant located in South San Francisco, is looking to hire a Line Cook.
Our ideal hire would be able to perform the following duties:
Minimum 2 years experience in high volume food production with a focus on quality (fine dining and/or up-market catering experience encouraged)
Strong understanding and passion for sustainability and seasonality
Friendly and flexible personality
Mature decision maker and team player - you will be an integral part of a new but well-seasoned team
Well developed palate
Excellent knife skills
Knows how to work with a sense of urgency
Solid knowledge of all basic cooking techniques, ie: braising, roasting, sauté, baking, poaching
Must be clean and organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable and motivated
Flexible schedule
Must have valid food handler’s certificate
