• Prepare and cook food according to recipes for various dining settings including casual, sports bar, banquets, outdoor events, racing concessions, or steakhouse.
• Assist in reaching guest satisfaction, workforce strength, profitability, and compliance goals by preparing, plating, and presenting food.
• Report to Sous Chef at the start of each shift for instructions on specials or menu updates.
• Communicate needs, waste, and discrepancies with the sous chef.
• Prepare and present menu items as directed, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in other kitchen areas as needed.
• Interact professionally and courteously with guests and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.

The following are the minimum requirements:

• Walking 30%, standing 70%, bending and lifting 10% of the time.
• Climbing heights over 10 feet.
• Lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
• Visual acuity of 20/20, color vision, peripheral vision.
• Work environment includes guest areas that are smoking and non-smoking zones, and high noise levels.
