Job summary

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Line Cook who loves great food and teamwork. You’ll contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, doing à la minute cooking and chef-inspired dishes. We offer $18.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time.

Weekend/holiday availability required; start times range 11:00 am–12:30 pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with 3% match, PTO and growth opportunities as we expand

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals and menu items following proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals.
• Utilize culinary skills to create high-quality dishes that enhance resident satisfaction.
• Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times.

Join our team as a Line Cook if you’re passionate about great food, teamwork, and have culinary experience. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes.

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, based upon experience

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 for Full-time position - Recruiter will provide details

Weekend & Holiday availability

Start times range from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
