Job summary

Eggs Up Grill | Tres Dreams EUG, Inc is seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will set up and stock stations, prepare meals, and cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen staff. Maintain high quality, safety, and timely service while supporting colleagues and managers.

Applicants should have proven cooking experience and strong knowledge of kitchen terminology and techniques. ServSafe certification is a plus and willingness to pursue it is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef/prep cook.
• Familiarity and fluency in kitchen terminology.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Clean up station and kitchen.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Complete Temperature Logs and Checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed.
