The position involves preparing and assembling biscuits, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring food safety and quality across a single-shift operation. Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Food safety and alcohol certifications required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• BOH team tasks include sauté, fry station, biscuit build, prep, dishwasher, and biscuit maker.
• Execute food prep tasks following established recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure accurate portion control and maintain consistent quality; reduce waste.
• Operate cooking equipment with precision and care.
• Prepare and assemble orders according to standards and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking throughout.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace and label foods clearly.
• Assist in inventory and notify management of shortages.
• Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation practices at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the team.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to coordinate order timing and service flow.

• Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the management team of any shortages.

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.

• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste.

• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.

• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate order timings and maintain a seamless flow of service.
