Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a dependable Line Cook to support our kitchen in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment. This per diem role covers 2 to 3 shifts per week, including weekends, with a commitment to hospitality and high-quality, from-scratch meals.

You will follow established recipes, manage portions, and ensure timely, attractive plate presentation while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards to support residents’ dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • All offers of employment are conditional based on background checks, drug screen, physical and TB test.

  • Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times
  • Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Per Diem)


Looking to cover 2 to 3 shifts per week to include a weekend day.


As a Line Cook at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will take on a dynamic role bringing energy and care to every step of the culinary experience in our vibrant community kitchen. From preparing fresh, flavorful dishes to setting the stage for memorable meals, you play a key part in creating moments residents truly enjoy. You will craft high quality meals with attention to detail, following company recipes while adding pride and passion to every plate. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes ownership of their work, and leads with compassion. Thriving in a fast moving, hands on environment, they work seamlessly with the team, stay ready to jump in when needed, and are committed to delivering outstanding hospitality that supports seniors in living their best lives. This is a flexible weekend on call opportunity perfect for someone who is adaptable and eager to make a meaningful impact.


YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must be at least 18 years of age


  • High school diploma or equivalent


  • Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude


  • Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English


  • Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting


  • Proven success with basic Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods


  • Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed


  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community


  • All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.
