Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha, NE is seeking a casual Line Cook to support the hospital cafeteria and Room Service. This as-needed position offers flexible workdays to meet patient and department needs.
You will follow recipes and HACCP guidelines, prepare patient meals, Room Service orders, and catering items, assemble plated dishes, and contribute to a clean, safe kitchen while delivering friendly service to patients, families, and staff.

Location: Methodist Hospital Address: 8303 Dodge St. - Omaha, NE Work Schedule: This is a casual position. Casual employees work on an ‘as needed’ basis to meet the needs of the business. Workdays/hours will often vary from week to week. The Line Cook is responsible for preparation and/or cooking of food for the cafeteria and Room Service within the hospital.

High School diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred, preferably in Culinary.
Minimum 2 years previous food preparation experience required, preferably in a restaurant, hotel or club environment as a line cook. OR Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare or contract cooking.
Certification in ServSafe Food Protection Manager preferred.
