Job Opportunity: Cook at Max Beach Resort, Daytona Beach

Job Overview

Prepare food items according to production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards, as per server checks.
  2. Start food items prepared ahead of time, avoiding over-preparation.
  3. Label and rotate food containers, ensuring proper storage and temperatures.
  4. Check inventory levels, prepare necessary items, and assist in buffet stocking.
  5. Return unused food to storage, covering and dating perishables.
  6. Assist in controlling food costs, waste, and usage according to standards.
  7. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and properly clean tools.
  8. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Self-starting with a professional appearance and manner
  • Good communication with guests and team members
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate food machinery
