Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. The Line Cook will often have direct contact with the public working in areas such as a buffet line slicing meats or preparing dishes to order. The Line Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$18.00.

Heritage Shores Bridgeville's clubhouse offers an unparalleled dining experience, showcasing the elegant 1730 Tavern, Passwaters Restaurant with outdoor veranda seating overlooking a pond, spacious banquet facilities, and a well-maintained golf course.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
• Work as part of a team with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of food.
• Report any maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Test foods for proper cooking.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery.
• Consult with chefs or supervisors to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
• Show excellent attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or prep cook.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and knives.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid food handling certification if required by law.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
