Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Palisades Country Club is seeking a full-time, hourly Lead Line Cook to join our Food and Beverage team. Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Job Description

Prepares various pantry products for food outlets such as the restaurant, banquet operations, snack bar, and beverage cart.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Completes opening and closing checklists.
  • Follows daily prep list for assigned duties.
  • Prepares meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Adheres to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards.
  • Ensures proper storage of food items.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment.
  • Assists in opening the kitchen and supports the Head Chef in scheduling and management tasks.
  • Reports equipment or food quality issues promptly.
  • Practices safe work habits and maintains reliable attendance.

Qualifications

Certificate from college, technical school, or related experience (6-12 months) or equivalent education and experience.

Physical Demands

Regularly talks or hears; occasionally stands, walks, sits, handles objects, reaches, stoops, kneels, or crouches. May lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision.
