Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our talented team. The successful candidate will prepare meals according to standard recipes, possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, and contribute to guest satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all food is of high quality and portions are consistent. Complete food tickets promptly.
• Set up/prep station before service, maintain throughout, and break down per kitchen standards.
• Store all meats, poultry, seafood, and other food items properly, with proper dating.
• Clean and sanitize according to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness.
• Manage par stocks and adjust production as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts certificate preferred.
• ServSafe certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant practices and cooking methods.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, twist, squat, and reach.
• Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, extreme cold, and heat.
