Looking for a fun, fast-paced place to work? Enjoy preparing unique and tasty meals for others? Anna's House has an opportunity for you! We are seeking Line Cooks to prepare food according to specifications and set up stations for the menu. Responsibilities also include assisting the Kitchen Manager with daily tasks. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction.

The Line Cook's duties include preparing, seasoning, and cooking all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items efficiently in collaboration with kitchen staff.
  • Operate cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and fryers.
  • Multitask by managing multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
  • Prepare ingredients like chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or making sauces.
  • Follow instructions from Kitchen and General Managers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and store leftovers properly.
  • Stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school diploma is a plus.

Experience

Proven cooking experience, including as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook preferred.

Skills
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for operating kitchen tools and utensils.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation best practices.

Work Environment

Ability to stand and work in a kitchen with exposure to heat, steam, and cold. Must lift up to 50 pounds.
