Job summary

Civitas Senior Living's Legacy Oaks of Midlothian is seeking a Cook to craft meals, showcase plating, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen.

You will follow recipes, maintain safety standards, participate in inventory, and benefit from Next Day Pay, discounts, referrals, training, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards.
• Maintain temperature charts and food safety records; adhere to sanitation protocols.
• Notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations.
• Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene.
• Assist in organizing the kitchen, food storage, dish room and other culinary areas.
• Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation and proper dating for freshness.
• Assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to grow kitchen efficiency and provide staff training.
• Follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
