Job Title: Line Cook

Reports To: Executive Chef

Summary

Prepare food for the restaurant, in-room dining, and catering by performing the following duties:

• Perform opening and closing procedures per checklists.
• Ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Wash, peel, slice, portion, chop, and store ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
• Portion and present food attractively.
• Develop feature offerings for each service period.
• Monitor food quality and quantity to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items and ingredients; answer questions from staff or guests.
• Assist with prep for all kitchen stations.
• Check and report on the operation of fixtures and equipment.

Requirements
