Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join the Kitchen Team. You will handle assigned prep work and cook on your station, while upholding high standards for presentation, quality, and timing.

You will be cross-trained across kitchen roles and learn the recipes and specifications used in Applebee’s kitchen. Ideal candidates show a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to move and lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be eager to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing and other food prep equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work for the shift.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects as assigned.
