Located in the new expansion of Westfield Topanga, Topanga Social offers a vibrant space where the Valley comes together to eat, drink, play, and shop. It features over 50,000 square feet of flexible space with indoor and outdoor options, hosting a diverse range of eateries from celebrity chef outlets to quieter spots for casual gatherings.

Position Overview:

The Line Cook prepares food to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with all regulations. Reports to Lead Line Cooks, Culinary Supervisors, Sous Chefs, and the Executive Chef.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare high-quality food according to recipes and standards.
  • Serve meals ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in production planning and record keeping.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Foster good relationships with team members and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong planning and resource management skills.
  • Problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

This is a full-time, entry-level position in the Food & Restaurant industry, within Management and Manufacturing functions.
