Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Line Cook for the British Airways Lounge at IAD. You will prepare, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold dishes for all meal periods and events, following Sodexo culinary standards.

In this full-time role, you’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure food safety and sanitation. Previous kitchen experience and the ability to read recipes are valued, with ongoing training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, cooking, and serving items.
• Estimate food requirements and maintain inventory records as needed.
• Attend to shifts on time and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
