Job description

The beautiful, family-friendly Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is seeking a full-time Cook III to join their team! This 1000+ room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of culinary experience supporting high-volume operations, with strong food safety knowledge, knife skills, and an understanding of cooking temperatures. This role supports both as a Line Cook III and a Prep Cook. The candidate should work quickly and accurately, be a team player, and have a current ServSafe certification and hotel experience (preferred but not required).

Shift Pattern: Candidates should be available to work morning and evening shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

As a Cook III, you will prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and monitoring quality for hot food items like meat, fish, sauces, stocks, and seasonings
  • Cooking according to recipes and standards
  • Preparing guest orders efficiently and courteously
  • Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards
  • Inspecting food presentation and quality
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures according to regulations
