Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Produce from standardized recipes.
- Prepare, portion, and cook food accordingly.
- Ensure stations are prepared to meet anticipated levels of business for the day, assisting fellow staff when needed.
- Accomplish daily cleaning duties efficiently, following sanitation guidelines.
- Handle high volume cooking and plating while maintaining consistent quality of food in a fast-paced environment.
- Work hands-on with other kitchen personnel to ensure high quality of food, timeliness of food service, proper food handling, and a safe, sanitary kitchen.
- Knowledge of safety procedures to ensure employee safety.
- Follow all appropriate procedures and work under supervision of culinary management team.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Occasionally interact directly with guests.
- Abide by company and department specific appearance standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Few Must Haves
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience.
- One (1) – three (3) years’ experience as a line cook in a restaurant, preferably in an Asian restaurant.
- Must comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying food products, equipment, or trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift, carry, and deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
- Ability to work around 500-degree ovens and in 40-degree walk-in refrigerators.
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10-hour shift.
