Job summary

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of culinary experience, possess a culinary degree or certificate, and are bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience in resort or upscale environments and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience or training.
• Ability to follow recipes and directions.
• Ability to work cold and hot stations.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to focus on details in repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize work assignments.
• Fluent in English; ability to read/write in English & Spanish.
• Culinary degree or certificate from an accredited establishment.
• Experience in resort or upscale restaurant; high-volume cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up line station and prepare all food for the shift.
• Follow quality control standards and maintain professionalism on the line.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.
• Assist in controlling food costs by managing waste and prepping accordingly.
• Produce food according to tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to plating guides and recipes.
• Receive items and store properly in assigned locations.
• Close stations and complete prep for the next shift.
