The Live! Line Cook is responsible for properly preparing and cooking all food items in a safe, timely, and organized manner, maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Produce dishes from standardized recipes.
  • Prepare, portion, and cook food accordingly.
  • Ensure stations are prepared for anticipated levels of business, assisting staff as needed.
  • Meet ticket time requirements consistently.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties following sanitation guidelines efficiently.
  • Handle high-volume cooking and plating while maintaining consistent food quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen personnel to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe food handling and service.
  • Follow all procedures under the supervision of culinary management.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through communication and coordination.
  • Occasionally interact directly with guests.
  • Adhere to appearance standards set by the company and department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in smoke-filled environments.
  • RAMP and Serv-Safe certification required.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages, quantities, and variances.
  • Ability to stand and move safely and efficiently in the kitchen.
