The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience, with flexibility to work holidays and weekends. You must be able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Begin food items that are prepared ahead of time, avoiding over-preparation.
• Date and rotate perishables, keep at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use; set up, note shortages.
• Return unused items to storage; cover and date perishables.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per standards.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety guidelines; wear protective equipment.
